Learnings

The testing of the prototype can be seen as an overall success. The participation methodology proved to be functional on all levels. Moderation techniques and a first version of the graphical user interface have been tested and can be improved further. Also possible areas of technical difficulty have been spotted and can now be monitored more efficiently. A large amount of valuable data has been raised and can be exploited in the ongoing research.
Most importantly, the testing of the prototype has shown that it is possible to initiate, moderate and structure a highly complex discourse, even in an environment that offers its protagonists many different possibilities for communication.
